and DEATH CAFE
Just 2 days before our big Day of the Dead extravaganza, this meetup is a chance for anyone in the community to get to know each other, whether or not you're coming to the upcoming event. This free event is for anyone - wider community or core crew to REUNITE or MEET FOR THE 1ST TIME, outside the hustle and bustle of our large events; to converge and connect and discuss and dream. What draws you to Fox&Badge? What scares you? What would you like from your night with us?
Come collectively prepare with us for the journey that will be Day of the Dead.

Death touches us all - many of us before we die. We grieve, yet often feel we can't. Despite its eternal pervasiveness in our lives, death is perhaps one of the most feared subjects.
As a new addition to our regular community meetup this month, in honour of the theme of the next event, we’ll be leading a facilitated conversation on death - what it means to us, how it’s touched us, what we fear, and what we cherish.
We have all lost loved ones or things, and we're here to face that head-on with the knowledge that death is what gives meaning to our time here, and that to embrace it is to surrender to life's deep wisdom.
This meetup is inspired by the Death Cafe, an organisation that runs meetups with a mission to 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
From 9pm, we will be sharing openly in circle, without judgement or trying to fix, as we navigate the mystery that is this final transition of life.
