DJ INTRO: Miss Lightbeam
Today we introduce our final DJ, the wondrous Miss Lightbeam, AKA Hetty Nutbeem, who will be playing the closing set in our more intimate & playful interactive dancefloor, the CAMP.
Miss Lightbeam is a unique, self-taught musician and DJ. She first began DJing when finding herself surrounded by creatives and producers in South Africa's early blossoming electronic scene, and initially cut her teeth DJing at all the afterparties, before taking the main helm to play at clubs and stages across the world, from Portugal to Panama, including Noisily, Boomtown, Tribal Gathering, the Secret Garden Party, Heartwood, The Little People, Tribe of Frog, & Planet Shroom
She is profoundly, unpretentiously spiritual, offering music as divine medicine; “a multi-dimensional alchemist, committed to anchoring love and light as medicine, to uplift, heal and awaken the human soul”; listen out for luscious melodies laced with messages and teachings.
She’s also bringing some of her glorious family: her daughter Luna’s our DJ liaison for the night, and her circus family member Phoebe may be performing - as did her daughter Emba at New Year’s Eve. Miss Lightbeam herself often strikes out from behind the DJ booth to beautifully explode into dance & play with her audience :) I’ve been really enjoying her deep, inquisitive engagement in the Vikings theme, and greatly look forward to some luscious surprise moments in her set.
